- Physical Growth : – In deprived or rural areas, healthcare services are either negligible nor very limited. And, as we know that without proper nutrition, immunization, and hygiene during early childhood, children are vulnerable to malnutrition and disease. And the dilemma is this that there are very limited persons to aware people for this. Early guidance and care ensure proper physical growth and prepares them for a healthier future. If a child is not physically active, he can lack in many day-to-day activities too.
- Emotional and mental growth : – Good physical growth and healthy atmosphere of family and society shapes the brain and emotional well-being of children. Love, security, and a nurturing environment help children build confidence and emotional stability. In rural areas mental health awareness is always limited. For good emotional and mental growth consistent care and guidance is very essential.
- Strong base for educational activities : – Undoubtedly the first school where children start learning is family and then his neighborhood and society. Early childhood is base for language development, critical thinking, and learning ability. Without proper early care and stimulation, children may struggle academically later in life. Rural areas face weak structure of education system in schools and other educational institutions. Rural areas also face other educational challenges, so support at home becomes even more essential.
- Caste system: Social Inequality :- Most of the rural areas still follows hierarchy adopted by ‘Varna system” and often suffer with caste, race, gender, and economic disparities. But when all children receive equal care and opportunities from the start, it helps in building a more just and equitable community, breaking the old trend of discrimination and poverty in the society especially in rural areas.
- Investment in the Next Generation :- Children are the future politicians, actors, artists, farmers, teachers, leaders, doctors, engineers and workers. Providing them with good nutrition, education, health, and ethical values from an early age ensures a stronger and more developed village in the long run. And it will lead to developed India.
Arjun Kirpal’s Compassion Trust: – AKCT provides awareness program for the pregnant ladies to take care of own self and infants, conducts informative lectures from the field experts during conduction of health check up camps, and regular lectures to the children suggesting the role of balanced diet, nutrition, sports and education in the life time to time.
Final Thought : – Early childhood care in villages and rural areas is not just a parental duty—but it’s an investment for future of the community and society ensuring sustainable and inclusive development. Everybody including parents, teachers and stakeholders have to play important role in the upliftment of the children in village or rural areas, then the dream of developed India will come true.
